Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly event hosted over at The Broke and the Bookish.
I wasn’t planning on posting today (or for the rest of the week, for that matter) but on Monday night, I was in need of a distraction. So, it’s kind go a last minute post today. Anyway, since I didn’t ask for any of these books for Christmas, I don’t think I’ll find them under the Christmas tree. But if they were, that would be cool.
In no particular order . . .
1. & 2. I Hunt Killers & Game by Barry Lyga
I’ve already read these, but I loved them so much I wouldn’t mind my own copies.
3. & 4. Dare You To & Crash Into You by Katie McGarry
I’m a HUGE Katie McGarry fan, and I loved DYT. I still need to read CIY, but I’ve heard it’s amazing.
5. Doll Bones by Holly Black
Okay, so I’ve read this one before, too. Apparently I want books that I’ve already read and loved. But this book is sooo good.
Soooo, that’s it really. I love books and reading, but if there is one I need to own, I usually either get it from the library, or buy it myself. Since I’m all grown-up with a job, and not a lot of responsibilities (no kids, etc) my money is really my own. But I do get most of my books from the library. Which is why I end up wanting to own books I’ve already read and loved.
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!
