Book Haul21

From the Barnes & Noble:

So, my aunt took me book shopping for my birthday (which was in June) and it was so much fun.  Thank you so much Aunt Carolyn!  She bought the following books for me:

Rose Under Fire by Elizabeth Wein
Starry Nights
by Daisy Whitney
(I’ve heard mixed things about this book, but I still really want to read this)
The Outside
by Laura Bickle
(I still haven’t read the first book, The Hallowed Ones, but I plan to soon.)
by Rainbow Rowell
(I’ve already read this one from Netgalley, but now I have my own copy!)
I Capture the Castle
by Dodie Smith
(I need to read this!)

Life Tidbits

  • As I mentioned above my aunt took me book shopping for my birthday on Friday.  It was so much fun spending time with my aunt.  We also went to lunch and talked and talked.  It was great!
  • I picked out new glasses on Friday, too.  I ended up getting hipster glasses, and I love them!  I usually wear my contacts, but I do wear my glasses out from time to time.
  • The weather has been AMAZING here in Syracuse the past week, and it’s supposed to continue being amazing throughout the weekend and early next week.  It puts me in a great mood.
  • How’s the weather been in your neck of the woods?

And Rose Under Fire… have you read this? If not be prepared for love and heartache!!! Glad you had such a wonderful week – the weather is still warm down here (low 80s) but it’s been beautiful! 🙂

Also, hooray for hipster glasses! I have a pair (or at least I like to think they’re hipster) and adore them… mostly because I cannot see without them!

  38. I got FANGIRL too and haven’t gotten to read any of Rainbow’s books before. Hope you enjoy all your new books!
