Top Ten Older Books I Don’t Want People To Forget About

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly event hosted over at The Broke and the Bookish.  This week The Broke and the Bookish are asking us to list backlisted books I think are great.  The point is to share books that could be forgotten about in the midst of all the new releases.  Here’s my list:

1.  The Uncommon Reader by Alan Bennett
2.  Every Boy’s Got One by Meg Cabot
3.  The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale

4.  Sorcery and Cecelia by Patricia C. Wrede and Caroline Stevermer
5.  Hope Was Here by Joan Bauer
6.  Major Crush by Jennifer Echols

7.  Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow by Jessica Day George
8.  Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine
9.  The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate by Jacqueline Kelly
10.  Hoot by Carl Hiaasen

About Quinn

I'm a twenty-something children's librarian at a public library in Central New York. I've long left my teen years behind me, but I love to read YA and children's books. I have two adorable dogs. Ginger is a mix between a poodle and havanese, and Daphne is Bichon Frise. Other things I love: Favorite Movie: Singing in the Rain Favorite Book: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen Favorite TV Show: Monk
