In My Mailbox #29

In My Mailbox is a weekly event hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren.  Here we can share what new books we’ve picked up this past week.

Since I haven’t been at work all week (joys of being on vacation) I haven’t picked up any library books.  But I did buy two books from Barnes and Noble:

Storm by Brigid Kemmerer

The Fine Art of Truth or Dare by Melissa Jensen

I also got one book for review:

Decked with Holly by Marni Bates

Life Tidbits

  • Well, today is my last day of vacation.  Kind of sad it is over; I had such a wonderful week off from work.
  • Poor Ginger wasn’t feeling well yesterday.  I don’t know what was wrong with her, but I could tell she wasn’t feeling her best.  I hate when my puppies aren’t feeling well!
  • Because Ginger wasn’t feeling well, I woke up every time she moved last night.  I’m exhausted this morning, but I think Ginger is feeling better this morning.
  • One week from today is this huge booksale at the library where I work, which means I am working this Monday all the way through Thursday, 9/27.  That’s 10 days in a row!  Now, some days I’m not working a full 8 hours, but still, I need to get up and get dressed for work 10 days straight!  I’ll survive, though.  🙂
