Summary from GoodReads:

See the #1 New York Times bestselling story Beastly through Lindy’s eyes! This is her diary, kept while living in captivity with the beast. Lindy’s Diary captures all the romance and edgy mystery of the original!

I am locked away . . . with no one to confide in but you . . . and him. His fur, those claws—they caught me off guard at first, but now I’m noticing something else about him—something deeper. It’s the look in his eye. It tells me he’s got a secret to keep. That’s okay—I’ve got one, too. I think I’m falling in love with him. . . .

My Thoughts

This was so much fun to read!  I read Beastly a few years ago, and loved it!  For those wondering, Beastly is a modern day retelling of Beauty and the Beast from the Beast’s POV.  It was really interesting to see things through the Beast’s eyes.  But now we can see this story through Lindy’s eyes!

This is a supplement to the original Beastly, and I definitely think you should read Beastly first to really understand Lindy’s Diary.  I really enjoyed getting to see how Lindy was feeling and thinking, especially regarding her father, and her time spent at Adrian’s place.

I actually kind of wish Lindy’s diary was spread through the original Beastly.  I think that would be really awesome.  Anyway, if you enjoyed Beastly, then definitely read Lindy’s Diary!

Life Tidbits

  • I have been reading so many contemporary novels this summer.  But I have been get back into the fantasy/paranormal recently and really enjoying it.
  • Ginger is so hairy right now!  I’ve been calling her my “hairy beast.”  She’s off to the groomers on Friday.
  • I’m finally going to see The Dark Knight Rises tonight (Thursday).  Can’t wait!
  • I bought a new blush from Ulta on Monday.  It is awesome – Flaunt by Lorac.  Gosh, I love makeup!
