In My Mailbox #14

In My Mailbox is a weekly event hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren.  Here we can share what new books we’ve picked up this week.

I only picked up two books at the library this week.

Royally Crushed by Niki Burnham

The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
I borrowed the audiobook of this book.  And did I mention that I went to the same college at Maggie Stiefvater!  Yay UMW!

So that’s all I got.  What did you get this week?

I'm a twenty-something children's librarian at a public library in Central New York. I've long left my teen years behind me, but I love to read YA and children's books. I have two adorable dogs. Ginger is a mix between a poodle and havanese, and Daphne is Bichon Frise. Other things I love: Favorite Movie: Singing in the Rain Favorite Book: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen Favorite TV Show: Monk

How cool that you went to the same college as Maggie Stiefvater! I hope you enjoy The Scorpio Races. Unfortunately I wasn’t a huge fan 😦 I had really high hopes for it and just didn’t enjoy it too much. I hope you enjoy it more though. Most people seem to!

If you’re interested you can also enter to win a signed copy of City of Lost Souls!

  5. How I sincerely yearn for The Scorpio Races? How I NEED this book? I’ve heard such amazing things and I adore Stiefvater’s books. I NEED, NEED, NEED THIS BOOK. I hope you enjoy it 😀
