Q: Write a letter to your favorite character. Rant, rave or gush…just pretend like they are real and you just want to let them know a “few things”. – Activity courtesy of author, Kelly Walker

Dear Daemon Black,

Don’t be such an ass when you first meet Katy.  Also, do you have a long-lost older brother for me?  He doesn’t have to be as much of a jerk as you are.

Best wishes,

Quinn

Dear Katy -

Don’t be such an ass after the whole arum incident.  Daemon truly likes you, he just doesn’t know how to show it.  Also, be careful who you trust.

Best wishes,

Quinn

I totally had a hard time with this.  I wasn’t even sure how to sign my letters, but decided to go the John Green Best Wishes route.  Who would you write to?  What would you have said to Daemon and Katy?

  5. Quinn an old follower. Don’t worry some of these weekly meme questions are sometimes harder for some but not others and vice versa. I actually found this week’s Top Ten Tuesdays ~ Romances hard to answer LOL

Daemon has improved a lot, so no complaining there, but Katy needs to stop acting stupidly and start trusting Daemon.

I’d like to save myself from all the stress of Daemon in Obsidian. I want Daemon in Opal – only his older brother, since, you know, I am way past my high school years :)

hi im new follower via this memes. i just wanted to ask is the obsidian series as good as everyone says it is because some people say its really bad im not sure if i should read it.

    • Quinn says:

Hi! Thanks for following my blog. Okay, as for Obsidian and the Lux series. Well, I really like the series, but I can understand why people may not care for it. I think it depends on what kind of books you like to read.

The Lux series is very romance-y. So if you don’t like romance, then Obsidian probably isn’t for you. Even though it is about aliens, it’s really paranormal and not science fiction at all. And the love interest, Daemon, is such a jerk in Obsidian. I mean, sometimes you just want to slap him. Don’t get me wrong, you get to know why he is the way he is, but sometimes it’s frustrating (in a good way).

Armentrout is great at creating this sexual tension between Katy and Daemon, though, and there are a lot of other things going on in the story besides the romance. Anyway, I don’t think it would hurt to try it. Maybe get it from the library, if you can. I find the books very hard to put down.

  13. I just love the format you chose for letters. They made me giggle even though I haven’t even read the Lux series yet!! I’ve heard Damon is a jerk and I can’t wait to crack open my copy of Obsidian and…fall in love with him despite it I guess?! haha Thanks for sharing & for stopping by earlier ♥
