In My Mailbox #47 / Stacking the Shelves #6

In My Mailbox is a weekly event hosted by Kristi over at The Story Siren.  Stacking the Shelves is a weekly event hosted on Tynga’s Reviews.  Here we can share what new books we’ve picked up this past week.

Stacking the Shelves

I picked up a lot of awesome books this week from the library:

wondersun and moon

mr monk goes to hawaiiScarletUS.inddworld above

Wonder by R.J. Palacio
A colleague keeps telling me I need to read this.  I’ve heard it’s a Newbery contender, too.  So I picked up the audiobook.  So far I really like it.

Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow by Jessica Day George
I’ve read this before, but want to re-read it for Project: Fairy Tale.  It’s a favorite of mine.

Mr. Monk Goes to Hawaii by Lee Goldberg

Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen

The World Above by Cameron Dokey
I saw a review of this one on The Daily Prophecy and decided to give it a try.  It will be a quick read.

I’m listening to it right now! I knew from the first few sentences that I was going to love it. I actually checked to see if it was in the library, because I wanted to read the physical copy, instead of listening to the audiobook. But our book was checked out, and I do like the audiobook.
